Congratulations Eilidh Smyth on Swim Ireland Scholarship

Piranha Swim Club are delighted that Eilidh Smyth applied for and was offered a place on Swim Ireland's new scholarship programme for teenagers. The scholarship is funded by Sport Ireland, and allows the successful candidates to complete selected aquatic coaching courses supported by a mentoring programme. This programme aims to give teenagers the opportunity to utilise the skills and knowledge that they have developed during their time in swimming clubs by qualifying as a Swimming Coach. Candidates will also complete the CARA Sports Inclusion and Disability Awareness Training Online Workshop. Each of these courses will be a blend of online classes, online learning in your own time, and practical elements at the pool.
